Columbus OH poets Caidyn Bearfield and Su Flatt
CAIDYN BEARFIELD (she/her) is a queer Italian-American poet from Columbus, OH. She has been published by River Dog Press and has featured at festivals, museums, and punk shows across the Midwest. She is also a peer and legislative advocate for foster youth, who enjoys making anything from crafts to cakes to change.

SU FLATT is an Assistant Professor at Columbus State Community College, whose interests are Composition and Rhetoric, British Literature, Creative Writing, and Theory. She is a fierce proponent of the works of women authors, poets, and artists, according to “Q&A: Su Flatt of Women Aloud.”

Emerging poets who need a supportive audience, and established poets who want to promote published works: Sign up for open mic! Your words are precious. (2-3 min. per open mic participant)
Come early (approx. 30-60 min. before the program start time) to:
- Sign up for open mic
- Meet and greet program participants
- Purchase food and beverages before the 7pm cafe closing time
- Purchase copies of books by featured poets
