An Audio Play by Antonia Matthew

Antonia Matthew’s audio play “HOME FRONT” will be broadcast on WFHB at 91.3 FM.

It was originally produced in 2019 by the Writers Guild at Bloomington and performed at the Monroe County Public Library.

At the end of that performance, Richard Fish (WFHB) asked if he could give the piece to a British radio drama group.

Permission granted, work on Antonia’s audio play, continued off and on during lockdown, with UK audio theatre producer John Fryer recording vocal tracks in his spare time.

That halted during 2020 and part of 2021. Richard Fish received the last of the tracks earlier this year and completed the production this month.

The plan now is to air it stateside on WFHB and perhaps WFIU, and in the UK on the BBC. The dates will be announced and promoted through the Guild.

We plan to enter it in the Audies, essentially the Grammies for audio theatre.
