Virginia Baude

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have lived in Bloomington, Indiana the majority of my life. I live with my long-time partner and am the mother to an adult daughter and pet-mom to a cat and dog. I have been on the Congregational Care Committee and am a deacon and send out greeting cards on behalf of our church. I started writing some poetry on the inspiration of a friend of mine who lives in Texas, my partner’s father who writes poetry, and by watching a Korean drama series called “A Poem a Day.” I like to work on art and crafts, fiber arts, writing to people, and playing in our church’s handbell choir.

I am an artist, writer, and crafter. My favorite crafts are knitting, crocheting, and watercolor. I love to put my heart into my work, by thinking of the person that I’m making the project for while I work on the project. I love music, singing and listening to it.
