Joan Hawkins is an Emerita Professor of Cinema and Media Studies.
Academically, she is best known for her book, Cutting Edge:Art Horror and the Horrific Avant-garde.
As a creative writer, she works mainly in creative memoir.
Her books include School and Suicide and The Burroughs Hour, and she has one CD with Kyle Quass, Pragis. She co-edited Trigger Warnings, a book about escape and survival, with Kalynn Brower.
Wendy Teller writes fiction, memoir, and history.
Her books include Becoming Mia, a 1960s-coming-of-age story and Hungarian Rhapsody, which follows a young woman struggling to follow her dreams despite the repressive culture of 1905 Hungary.
Wendy and her husband live in the woods near Bloomington, Indiana.
