The Writers Guild at Bloomington presents free film screenings at the Herman B Wells Library and the Monroe County Public Library to celebrate the Allen Ginsberg centennial. Curators for this film screening series: Dr. Joan Hawkins and Tony Brewer.

Mainstream account of the college days of some of the early members of the Beat Generation (Lucien Carr, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, and Jack Kerouac), their interactions, and Carr’s killing of his long-time friend David Kammerer in Riverside Park in Manhattan. Daniel Radcliffe plays Ginsberg, Ben Foster as Burroughs.
