Christine Brandel is a writer and photographer. Her book “A Wife is a Hope Chest” was released on Halloween 2017 as the first full-length collection in the Mineral Point Poetry Series from Brain Mill Press. She also writes a column on comedy for “PopMatters” and rights the world’s wrongs via her character Agatha Whitt-Wellington (Miss) at “Everyone Needs An Algonquin.” More of her work can be found at clbwrites.com.

David Kim received his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland in 2013. A former high school teacher in Baltimore and Harlem, he moved to Bloomington last year and currently teaches at Ivy Tech Community College. He is working on a collection of linked stories.

Tony Brewer is chair of the Writers Guild at Bloomington and executive director of the Spoken Word Stage at the 4th Street Arts Festival. He has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize and he regularly contributes to Cricket’s Bone Caravan audio theatre. He has published three books of poetry: “The Great American Scapegoat” (2006), “Little Glove in a Big Hand” (2010), and “Hot Type Cold Read” (2013).

Sarah Cassidy is a 16-year-old acoustic singer-songwriter based in Bloomington, Indiana, who gathers her inspiration from life, love, and the world around her. Her growing repertoire of original songs derive from rock and roll, pop, and indie.
