HÍLDA DAVIS is a writer, educator, and genealogist from Staten Island, New York. Her work has appeared in The Offing, Callaloo, and elsewhere. A graduate of the University at Albany and Indiana University – Bloomington, Hílda is currently an adjunct faculty member and Master of Fine Arts candidate in Creative Writing at New York University. She primarily writes about girlhood, survival, and those she loves who are dead and living.
WIL GIBSON currently lives in Humboldt County, California, where the trees are big and he currently serves as Eureka, California’s Poet Laureate. He has had 5 collections published by kind people, and has been included in a number of anthologies and lit mags both online and in print, such as Marsh Hawk Review, Button Poetry, Midwestern Gothic, Drunk in a Midnight Choir, Cascadia Rising, Collective Unrest, Yellow Chair Review and many more. He has twice been nominated for both a Pushcart and Best of the Net, is a community board member of Word Humboldt, co-owns ReWorded (a poetry-only bookstore) with his patient partner, Susanna, and is editor-in-chief of Swimming With Elephants Publications. Ohio born and raised, KERRY TRAUTMAN is a founder of ToledoPoet.com and the “Toledo Poetry Museum” page on Facebook, both of which were created to help promote NW Ohio poetry events. She is a poetry editor for Red Fez, and she has served as a judge and workshop leader for the NW region of Ohio’s “Poetry Out Loud” competition annually since 2016. FORBES GRAHAM is a composer, musician, sound artist, and visual artist whose work explores themes of simultaneity, perceptibility, transformation and collage. His work “Encounters I” for trumpet, electronics, and voices premiered at Roulette in 2019. He performed with Michael Pisaro at (the) co-incidence festival in 2017 and has appeared at other music festivals including High Zero, Vision, and The Thing In The Spring. He was commissioned to write a piece for the Festival of New Trumpet, and has created work for the avant-rock ensemble Normal Love. Graham is the creator and producer of “Beyond/Apex”, a bi-weekly podcast dedicated to showcasing contemporary and experimental music. To date, this show has featured the works of over 100 composers and creatives, ranging from emerging artists such as Cecilia López and Claire Rousay to more established artists like George Lewis.
