a podcast about the present, and has a book of poems called Bindings: A Preparation, about domestic life and empire. His poems have been published in Gulf Coast,

The Laurel Review, and elsewhere. He teaches audio storytelling at the IU Media School. When he’s not in the woods gathering sound, you might see him out for a run on the streets of Bloomington –

he’s been a dedicated aspiring half-marathoner for many years.

Colleen Wells believes writing can be a wonderful tool for healing, experiencing joy, and connecting people together to share their lives’ stories.

and Veils, Halos and Shackles – International Poetry on the Oppression and Empowerment of Women among other publications.
