Cole Hardman is a local writer from Mitchell who seeks to capture the voices of rural 
Indiana in his work while attempting to blur the line between fine arts and the sciences, with an emphasis on interpersonal communication. He is a member of the Writers Guild at Bloomington and two-time winner of the Max Ehrmann Poetry Competition.
Adam Henze has been a poet and organizer in the slam community for more than a
decade. His poetry has been featured on PBS’ Mainstreet and NPR’s Marketplace. His first book of verse, Written in the Dish Pit, is available on Chatterhouse Press. Adam just completed his third year of a PhD residency at Indiana University, and hopes to earn a doctorate in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education. He has lectured and performed at educational institutions in over 30 different states, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, and Ireland. Adam lives in Bloomington, Indiana, where he is the director of Slam Camp–a summer academy for young poetry writers. He is an instructor in the English Department as well as the Student Academic Center at Indiana University.
Anni Liu is a MFA candidate in poetry at Indiana University. She was raised in the 
Midwest of the US and China, and has worked as a church pianist, farm hand, and cat-sitter. She is the only member of her biological family living in the western hemisphere.
Nancy Chen Long is the author of Light into Bodies, winner of the 2016 Tampa Review Prize for Poetry (forthcoming, University of Tampa Press, 2017) and the chapbook Clouds as Inkblots for the War Prone (Red Bird Chapbooks, 2013). You’ll find her recent and forthcoming work in Alaska Quarterly Review, Pleiades, Bat City Review, Superstition Review, DIAGRAM, the Anthology of Contemporary Indiana Writers, and elsewhere. Armed with an acoustic guitar and an open journal, Brandon Pfeiffer builds accessible 
ballads oscillating between the earnest and the tongue-in-cheek. His introspection reveals a continual coming of age and lyrics reflect invitations to hope. Fine-tuned vocal melodies trace his contemporary airs, creating space for listeners to simply observe Pfeiffer’s personal work in progress or pack their belongings and move into their own. As one fan described, “You don’t attend a Brandon Pfeiffer show; it attends you.”
